This year, we are again offering a unique opportunity to see a selection of films from the Anifilm International Animated Film Festival in Liberec. How does contemporary animation mirror our everyday reality? The climate crisis, the war in Ukraine, disinformation, the "green border"... Reflection on contemporary issues has always been inherent in animation, but never to the extent as in the last few years. This collection of films from across the planet takes both fun and serious look at these issues. Whether they are films by star names in contemporary animation like Don Hertzfeldt or Kaspar Jancis, or student works, they are always interesting ventures with a strong engagement with the issues and a challenge to think.
