In the year 3000 the Earth is in a pitiful state. The mountains are rubbish, the sea is acidic, the water is blood red, and the last green plant has just died. There is no longer any possible life. The Liberty spacecraft, designed by two industrialists with dubious intentions, takes the survivors to another planet.
